An awesome day yesterday!
Posted by TransparantSea on the October 31st 2009, in AllTeam Transparentsea travelled around 85-90km from Anna Bay to Toowoon Bay on the NSW Central Coast, passing around 25 ocean freighters waiting to access Newcastle’s harbour, half a dozen whales and lots of coastal towns. Using sophisticated measuring instruments, like a pine needle and the width of Rasta’s finger, we reckon it’s around 50km to the Northern Beaches, give or take 10-15kms.
Seriously, it feels so close, we’re almost scared to get there too soon.
But by this afternoon, expect to see five little red crafts bobbing into shore at Mona Vale Basin …
Then it’s all about doing some media, reaching Manly, and getting ready to navigate the four foot waves predicted for Bondi on Thursday!
